The young world curriculum for classes LKG and UKG has pictures and names under 10 categories, namely Animals, Birds, Fruits, Vegetables, Flowers, Colours, Shapes, Transport, Alphabets and Numbers.

The book is a picture book cum activity book. The SRT has a flash game that has about 150 different items under these 10 headings. It has tools to fill color, brush, erase, undo, redo etc. They can take the same object and color any number of times. Apart from improving their mouse skills, it is lot of fun for children.

Schools like to bring all children under the umbrella of computer education including LKG and UKG. Courseware and computer activity should be child centered and fun filled. The book and flash game fulfill this objective and fit together like hand in glove.

Class 1 & 2

The curriculum for classes 1 and 2 includes knowing and identifying parts of a computer and its peripherals. The book is a picture book and has a section on computer alphabets. The SRT is a flash game that has a coloring book, a vocabulary builder and 2 Arithmetic games. There is also a learn alphabets game that relates directly to the computer alphabets from the text book.

The SRT flash game in class 1 and 2 is real value addition. The flash game focus is on improving their keyboard skills and having a lot of fun through computer.

Class 3, 4 & 5

The curriculum for 3, 4 and 5 has the single objective of students enhancing their creative ability, widening their imagination and having lot of fun with the computer.

In all three levels children create pictures of everyday objects that fascinate them using paint. There are about 40 to 60 pictures at each level. If challenged to draw a difficult object they can refer the solution videos from the SRT. All pictures are demonstrated in the solution videos.

The flash game will have a colouring book, vocabulary builder and Arithmetic games that is independent of the book.

These three levels are fundamental and will provide a foundation in computer concepts, office automation and programming techniques.

The knowledge videos and solution videos are a valuable asset.

Class 9 & 10

The curriculum for Photoshop gives a firm footing in understanding how to make visiting cards, brochures, pamphlets etc. Using flash students can create their own animations. The role of knowledge videos and solution videos for this is valuable as they can play the videos any number of times and replicate it.

The curriculum for Internet & HTML teaches the underlying concepts of internet and www. Html (css excluded) features will help them to create simple websites. The knowledge videos and solution videos are very helpful.

Class 11 & 12

The curriculum for C++ and Java is very important in view of the CBSE, ICSE, GCSE and state boards including them in their syllabus.

The approach in these two books is unique. As with our approach in earlier programming components like Q Basic and C the flow is programs based. Also the output of every program is shown.

The topics are arranged like teaching a one-to-one tuition. The table of contents of these 2 books from youngworldpublications website will confirm this.

We believe these books will help the teachers to make these advanced topics quite interesting for student. The knowledge videos and solution videos are absolutely important.
